Pirate Fishing Tours gives you the opportunity to enjoy a private sea excursion and an unforgettable fishing experience, next to a professional fisherman. The expert captain will take you in inaccessible quiet beaches of Santorini to enjoy swimming in the clear blue waters of the Aegean Sea. You can go snorkelling and experience an amazing underwater activity in the sea of Santorini or go fishing in various fishing spots.
Makis is a true expert and loves to share his knowledge. Not only will he inform you over the different species found in the area depending on the season, but he will be a friendly guide who will talk about the island’s history and culture and will show you the most beautiful landscapes of Santorini. Not to mention that he will stop at numerous reefs until you catch a fish!
He will also provide you with the necessary equipment:
- fishing rods (for different fishing techniques)
- fishing bait
- towels
- snorkeling equipment
You can choose among 3-hour or 5-hour sea excursions. The three-hour tour includes all mentioned above, plus traditional products tasting, such as cherry tomatoes, authentic Greek salads and local cheese varieties. If you choose the five-hour tour, you can have a full lunch or dinner (grilled fish) on board. Depending on the season you’re fishing, you may have the chance to taste a tuna, groupers, sea bream or another “treasure” of the Greek sea.
The boat sails near the spectacular cliffs of Santorini so that you can have a close look at interesting attractions like the island of Thirassia, Aspronissi, as well as “hidden” places that only a few locals know. Combined with the breathtaking sunset, this sea tour becomes an ultimate romantic experience!
